Who operates AIA Connect

Information we may process
We process information needed to operate AIA Connect and the features an account owner chooses to use. This may include account and workspace information, connected account details, provider identifiers, technical and security information, and support communications.
When messaging features are used, we may also process message and conversation data needed to provide those features. Data received through Meta APIs is processed to provide features authorized by the connected account owner.
How information is used
We use information to operate the service, enable connected channel functionality, provide support and troubleshooting, protect the service against security issues and abuse, and meet applicable obligations.
Sharing and retention
Data from a connected account is sent only to the social network you connect, to carry out what you ask. We use service providers only when needed to operate AIA Connect. We never sell personal information. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve issues, protect the service, or meet applicable obligations.
Your choices
You can ask for removal of a connection and the data stored for it by emailing support@platformaia.com. You can also revoke AIA Connect’s access directly in the settings of the connected platform (TikTok, Meta or Google). We may need to verify identity or authorization before acting on a request.
TikTok
If you connect a TikTok account, AIA Connect stores: your TikTok open_id, union_id (when TikTok provides it), display name and avatar address; the permissions you granted (user.info.basic and video.publish); and the access token and refresh token TikTok issues, with their expiry times. Tokens are stored encrypted (AES-GCM) and are used only to read your profile and posting options and to publish the videos you choose to publish.
When you publish to TikTok, AIA Connect sends TikTok the video you uploaded, its caption, and the privacy, interaction and content disclosure settings you selected, only after you click Publish (or at the time you scheduled). Before each post, and each time you open the TikTok composer, AIA Connect reads your current posting options from TikTok. We keep the caption, those settings and the TikTok publish ID with the publication record.
A video you upload is kept temporarily on our server only to send it to TikTok. It is deleted automatically about 7 days after its publication finishes (published, failed or cancelled), 24 hours after upload if it is never used in a publication, and 6 hours after an upload that did not complete.
TikTok data is sent only to TikTok, the social network you connected, to carry out what you ask, and is never sold. You can revoke AIA Connect's access at any time in your TikTok account settings. To have your TikTok connection and its stored data deleted from AIA Connect, follow the Data Deletion Instructions or email support@platformaia.com.
